What Does Your Automotive Service Advisor Do?

Address:
9000 North Division Street
Spokane, WA 99218

Your Service Advisor cares about you and empathizes with you. They know that it can be frustrating and nerve-wracking for you to have your car break down. They will do their best to get you back on the road again as quickly as possible.

Your Service Advisor is a liaison.

Two talk bubbles

They act as a listener, interpreter and communicator from the non-technical customer to the technical technician and vice versa.  As a customer, when you come in and explain your vehicle’s issue with your Service Advisor, it is their job to listen to what you are saying, take that information and effectively translate it so that the technician can fix your vehicle.  On the other side, your Service Advisor will communicate back to you, in terms that you can understand, what repairs need to be done.

Your Service Advisor is your estimator and invoicer.

They will work with you to determine if the repairs are covered under a warranty and how much of the invoice is your responsibility. Getting authorization from you for additional charges will be handled by your Service Advisor.

A list

Your Service Advisor is your timer.

Stopwatch

They will provide an estimate of how much time your repair will take.  They will update you throughout the process and will let you know if the estimated time will not be met.
